How we work

At IToris, we understand that no two businesses are exactly alike. The IT and web development solutions that work for every business, therefore, will be different as well. Many people think that they should just adjust their business to match the software or web development solutions that they find. IToris doesn’t believe you should have to compromise like that. That’s why we offer customization on every level to create your business’s perfect website from day one.

A completely customized Joomla website can be yours, leaving you no reason to compromise on your needs or desires just to find a solution. Through our experience and standards of management and development, we have a thoroughly tested and proven process of creating the latest and greatest websites for all of our customers. At IToris, we understand that the success is in the details, and we do our best to get all those details taken care of so that your customized website goes through the process step-by-step like it should. Starting with your free quote, we are committed to providing you with a successful outcome every single time. Here is a breakdown of our entire process, which may help you to better understand what you’re getting into:

1. Your quote is received and processed. If there are questions, answers will be sought. Once everything is clear, a rough estimate will be established, including the time and money that will need to be invested into the project.

2. You approve the quote, or make modifications until you are satisfied. Upon approval, the system modeling begins. You’ll work one-on-one with the project manager to model the exact web development solution that you want and need, so that we are on the same page at all times.

3. System modeling leads to three things: project vision, functional specification, and prototypes. The project vision describes the concepts, scope, deliverables, and functions of the web development project in question. It basically gives a detailed overview of what is being created, why, and how. The functional specification is specifically created for developers and QA engineers. This document contains technical descriptions, incidences of use, and a detailed, technical sketch of the entire project on a professional level.

The prototype is like a sampling that is created to demonstrate what is being built. It will be based on function, not design elements, and will often be referred to as the skeleton of your website final product.

4. Once everything is approved, the rough estimate will either be confirmed or re-created into a final estimate, depending on the situation and any factors that may have changed. Everything will be based on this final estimate and the only way it will change is if your needs change. The estimate is broken down so that you can clearly see where the working hours and total project time are coming from. It’s always helpful for you to understand exactly what you’re paying for, so at IToris, we do our best to show you clearly what that is.

5. Website development begins, and your ideas and needs are turned into an actual product. Throughout the process you are allowed to see what is happening, provide input, and change or modify your requirements during each step of the development process.

6. Quality assurance comes next. The client is to decide whether they want this testing done nor not. However, it is highly recommended so that you don’t have problems down the line because it is better to fix them before the development is implemented. Testing is done locally at first, and then on your own server, to ensure that there are no bugs. Once the bugs are all out of the website, we’ll ask you to take a look and see what you think.

7. Once you approve the website in its final stages, you will sign the close form and the project will be closed. Then, the website will be yours to use, and our job of development is done. However, you will have our continued support in your website development, because we stand behind the projects that we have created.

At IToris, that’s how things work on the most basic level. Your specific project might not be as simple, or might include multiple phases of testing and development to get it just right, but this is just a basic sampling of our process.
